Shattering at the speed of light a supernova sets fire to the night
The end is upon us, and we have only one chance to survive
The end is upon us, celestial imbalance has been obtained
The threshold has been reached, its now or never.
Flames engulf the world around us as galaxies collide, and our reality is shredded by the cosmic vortex. Standing at the gate to our salvation electricity is surging through me, this is the time. The path was traced for us like some divine plan, and I can still hear the thunder roaring.
One of the best modern prog metal groups out there... Even their freshmen years were absolutely fantastic... Great EP... One of the only bands I'm truly saddened by, knowing I don't have their music on vinyl... "hint, hint" enemyofthenight

The excellent French metal band Epectase return with another brain-bender, offering an almost proggy take on black metal fury. Bandcamp New & Notable Nov 21, 2022
Been listening to this since 2013. Eventually tried to track down a CD but now I'm starting to go digital. So, has 7 years of listening to this EP dulled the experience? Not even slightly. Amazing work. From Nathan's ghost beats on the snare, polyrhythmic measures and insane kick pedal work, Eric's unique tone on vocals and both Aaron and Josh's melodies and interesting structures. Just hope they get the chance to tour England soon. JAY DYER
