Dark clouds are gathering, as fire fills my eyes with infinite destruction
A complete breakdown of social order and structure followed by an affliction of loss and despair.
Contact has been established, but we're too far away to be saved.
Hold tight if we want to survive
Running from the setting sun, hydroplaning out of control
Looking up to a violent sky with streaks of light
Unpredictable, unparalleled, this must be the end
"Wait!", I exclaimed, "you're telling me that they've known this was coming?"
I could see the shame on her face as she handed me our only chance to survive.
Rage building; how could this be kept hidden for so long?
One of the best modern prog metal groups out there... Even their freshmen years were absolutely fantastic... Great EP... One of the only bands I'm truly saddened by, knowing I don't have their music on vinyl... "hint, hint" enemyofthenight
Midwestern prog-metal stalwarts go for the throat on their new EP, featuring a roiling cover of the Smashing Pumpkins' “1979.” Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 7, 2019
The excellent French metal band Epectase return with another brain-bender, offering an almost proggy take on black metal fury. Bandcamp New & Notable Nov 21, 2022
Been listening to this since 2013. Eventually tried to track down a CD but now I'm starting to go digital. So, has 7 years of listening to this EP dulled the experience? Not even slightly. Amazing work. From Nathan's ghost beats on the snare, polyrhythmic measures and insane kick pedal work, Eric's unique tone on vocals and both Aaron and Josh's melodies and interesting structures. Just hope they get the chance to tour England soon. JAY DYER
